Mee Hoon Kueh literally means wheat flour cake. It is my favourite childhood dish. It brings back the sweet memory of myself helping my mother rolling out the dough with a glass F&N bottle instead of a rolling pin. It is a popular dish in Malaysia and Singapore. Over the weekend my husband made waffles with the help of our old and faithful Breville Waffle Maker. My boys love to eat waffles with butter and maple syrup for breakfast.
My son attempted to bake some shortbread cookies and it was really delicious. He added in some chocolate chips because he loves chocolates.

For dinner tonight I made fried chicken for my boys. I made my own fried chicken coating in my thermomix. The coating contains all the natural herbs and spices. The best part is it does not contain any preservatives. Therefore, it is healthy to consume.
